Map client and database «BarMar: Barents Sea Marine Atlas». Here are maps of large parts of the monitoring data Norwegian research vessels have collected on the fish stocks in the Barents Sea, as well as temperature and salinity data, while catch data from the commercial fishing fleet are now entered. Parts of this database are now available on the Institute of Marine Research's website. The project will link this database to knowledge of existing and potential spawning grounds, operating models and swimming capacity to investigate changes in the life cycle of fish stocks that can be compared with the jurisdictional boundaries of national and international administrative bodies.
