Abstract A restricted web-based application deployed the RV Investigator to capture bird, cetacean and seals sightings, their behaviors and associated abiotic data. Data is copied from the vessel into an on-shore repository for analysis and eventual public publication via Data Trawler (ODIS id: 160) and OBIS Australia IPT (ODIS id: 161)
